Descripción
Sumario:[EN] This article explores the link between the work of goldsmith Wentzel Jamnitzer (1508-1585), Perspectiva corporium regularium, 1568, and the fourth book of a Spanish manuscript from the end of the 17th century, Artes Excelençias dela perspectiva a maestro P. Gómez de Alcuña. 16881, an anonymous text which is still little known to international or even Spanish scholar circles. The manuscript is the only treatise that analyzes the polyhedra displayed in the work of the Viennese artist from a graphic, constructive point of view. Some of the fundamental aspects to understand the contribution of the Spanish author to the ways of representing perspective regarding the use of graphic mechanisms and mechanic instruments will be discussed below.
