Sumario:The minority of Henry III of Castile (1390-1393) provides us with a privilege setting for the study of conflicts and negotiations between various powers in the kingdom. In this period, marked by the debates on the models of regency, whether by council (vía de consejo) or though tutors and regents (tutores e regentes), the Cortes emerged as the main guardianship and arbitration body, representing the collective will of the kingdom. From this perspective, this paper will examine the political culture of the elites and the consensus mechanisms they implemented
