Descripción
Sumario:[eng] The work presents and analyzes the goigs—rhymed poems—dedicated to Ramon Llull and printed on loose sheets between the 18th and 21st centuries. In accordance with this popular literary genre, they sing praise to the figure of Ramon Llull from different historical perspectives that vary according to the era in which they were written: the vindication of his questioned sanctity, episodes of his life, mentions of some of his writings—and always with the intention of bringing his personality closer to his devotees. Valuable illustrations, some from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, accompany every goigs. Music is present in the most modern examples.
