| Sumario: | [EN] Until now, few studies have focused on painting facades in Spains. Poor maintenance of these, and the disappearance of many of them, joined the little research that this kind of assets have today raised a state of limited and fragmented these question. This poor maintenance is given on the one hand, by the agents of deterioration that affect themselves (rainwater, wind, solar radiation ...), on the other, for the constructive characteristic, and finally by traumatic causes. Your character will be decorative, functional, or both. The decorative nature responds to the intent of certain estates to demonstrate his power over the others. The functionality of these decorations vary throughout history. From a commercial or advertising function of social or political criticism with the birth of graffiti. But besides this functionality, not just a claim, it is also an architectural feature of the building. The outdoor mural is a skin that covers the building, is a part of the architecture that support it. This is the method of protection of materials that make up the building. They are a defense barrier against environmental agents that attack a building. The different strata which are formed are the means to protect domestic supplies. The aesthetic function therefore joins functional. In recent years we are witnessing a growing concern about this type of decorations, performing studies and recovery of many of them, creating conservation plans facades and restoration projects. This study aims to analyze one of the processes acting within the restorations carried out in murals located outdoors, chromatic reintegration. This differs from those located inside the methodology used. On the one hand, the application of color is similar to what we find in sheltered paintings. But on the other hand the situation of these paintings makes a supplement that makes them stronger necessary. This add-on is what is known as repellent or protective. Traditionally chromatic reintegration method of mural paintings in many exterior, has not existed, and that when these losses were pictorial structures were replaced with new ones, or just limed and hidden. Not until the second half of the twentieth century when the chemical industry to develop products that will be taken to the field of restoration of wall paintings, many of them with the idea that these materials were evergreen. This thesis is divided into two large blocks. The first will review the actual situation of the various murals that can be found on the outside, with particular attention to the Valencian case. Embodiment techniques employed in outdoor mural painting, as well as the agents of deterioration that cause its current condition will be reviewed. Finally a review of two theoretical concepts that significantly affect the chromatic reintegration way, legibility and reversibility will be held. The second section focuses on the methods of chromatic reintegration are currently employed in polychrome facades. We have designed a pilot study based on a series of samples to see how the techniques and protective / repellents, more employees behave after being subjected to a cycle of natural aging of a year, which have analyzed four parameters help physicists understand its stability: existing colorimetric changes, changes in water absorption and resistance to mechanical abrasion and chemical transfer rubbed color (TQF). |
