| Resumo: | The Face Octrees are a representation scheme based on an octree decomposition of the space, which is very suitable to represent both smooth free form surfaces and solids with smooth boundary. The current paper is involved in the construction process of the Face Octree model of an object. Several classical problems, as the intersection between a plane and a surface, and the flatness study of a free form surface are also studied. |
