| Sumario: | The goal of this project is to identify the noise produced by vehicular traffic and how it can be reduced by the application of acoustic screens. Different traffic noise recordings were made in order to obtain as much information as possible about the types of noise produced by road traffic and get representative audio samples of the traffic. It proceeded in this way because of the various roadway speed limits, and noise related to it. These sound samples were used, after their modification simulating the effect of barriers, to study the degree of annoyance that they produce and the reduction of the same, produced by acoustic screens. For this, a psychoacoustic experience was designed. |
