| Sumario: | The natural stone named "Crema Marfil " is mainly extracted from Coto Pinoso Quarries (Pinoso, Alicante) and their geological prolongations. This natural stone maybe classified as a biosparite-biomicrite w ith veins and stylolites. The technolo gical p ro pertie s o f "Crema M a r f i l " are com pris ed w ith in o f M IA requirements to accept a natural stone as a commercial marble. Mercury porosimetric data are used to stablish a parameter of durability. The durability estimation from porosimetric data are not related with quality estimation from modulus of rupture and sonic velocity |
