Description
Summary:[EN] The knowledge in Project Management (PM) has been grouped in standards and norms, based on collection of good practices, which have been generalized recognized due to that its application has derived into an improvement of project results. PM include a number of knowledge areas (10 in total, according to the Project Management Institute Model). This work is focused on two of them: project Risk Management and project Stakeholder Management. On the one hand, Risk Management, which is well known, is more and more important. On the other hand, Stakeholder Management, which is the latest knowledge area in being included into the PMBOK®, is significantly increasing its importance. The relationship between both Risk Management and Stakeholder Management is not a very treated issue, therefore there is a lack in the knowledge about this topic. That is the reason why this work aims to give a better understanding about the stakeholder influence in risk management, and to display how project success can be affected. Consequently, a framework to manage project risk based on stakeholders is proposed.
