Sumario:In this study we are investing in the duration of government training, electoral volatility, fragmentation and polarization of the party system. To investigate, the legislative elections in Holland are used between 1948 and 2017. This study uses complementary strategic debts. In an initial place, it is a realization of quantities studied by means of a regression of generalized minimum squares. Secondly, an analysis is complemented by a more similar system design, which allows investigating the causal mechanism. It is not yet discovered that electoral volatility as the fragmentation of the party system has a substantial impact on the government's training duration
