| Sumario: | The utilization of LED technology in lighting applications has been increasing during the last several years. Parameters like efficiency, reliability, chromatic response and cost are important to consider this technology as a competitive one. LED technology involves power converters so overall Power Quality performance has to be analyzed in terms of emission and susceptibility. This paper reviews the Power Quality behavior of some commercial grade LED lamps and establishes a comparison with the long established incandescent lamp. |
