Descrição
Resumo:This dissertation explores the barocaloric effects induced by hydrostatic pressure in 2-Cladamantane (2-Cl-ada), a plastic crystal. The primary objective is to evaluate its suitability for future refrigeration technology. The study involves characterizing the phase transition of 2-Cl-ada at both atmospheric and high pressures, determining the associated entropy and enthalpy changes, and plotting entropy curves at various pressures.
