| Resumo: | The lithic industry, along with the osteological remains of animals, is the most prevalent type of material evidence found in the Palaeolithic sites of the Cantabrian region. These materials offer valuable insights into the activities of human groups in the past. The management of stone tools, both retouched and unretouched, in conjunction with wear-analysis, facilitates a comprehensive understanding of the workflow and the applications of these tools. The study of bone remains is an important source of relevant information for the analysis of the provisioning and management of animal resources. In this work, the results of the technological and traceological studies of the lithic industry, as well as those obtained in the archaeozoological study of the bone remains of mammals, are linked. By combining all the results obtained in these analyses, we can infer information about the socio-economic activities carried out in Zone IV of the Lower Gallery of La Garma.
