Sumario:This research paper presents the visions of Hildegard of Bingen which are revealed in her book Scivias. According to ideosemantic theory, it discusses their important scientific contribution as well as their musical and poetic innovation. Their theological and philosophical contributions show that women played an important role in European medieval culture. The originality of Hildegard’s work commands a great deal of interest among contemporary scientists, filmmakers, and artists.
