Sumario:An experiment designed to characterize the durability, efficiency and stability of a 32700 LiFePO4 battery has been performed under specific operating conditions, simulating realistic use and evaluating its performance over hundreds of cycles. DESCRIPTION OF THE TEST BENCH: - Charging process: Sorensen DLM 20-30 power supply connected to the 32700 LiFePO4 battery. - Discharge process: BK Precision 8614 programmable load connected to the 32700 LiFePO4 battery. DESCRIPTION OF THE CHARGE AND DISCHARGE EXPERIMENT: Automatic tests consisting of 579 charge and discharge cycles, with a 20-minute pause between each process. - The charging process is performed with a constant charging current of 6 A until the battery reaches a voltage of 3.65V (maximum charging voltage). After this, a charge is carried out with a constant charge voltage of 3.65V until the charge current reaches 0.5A. (CC-CV charge profile) - The discharge process was set at a discharge current of 6 A and a cutoff voltage of 2.5 V. - Rest time: After each charge or discharge process, a rest time of 20 minutes was established.
