| Sumario: | The project is based on the production of products of interest such as hydrogen by the efficient gasification of three types of different lignocellulosic biomass: first from forest pruning, second from urban and industrial origin and the last of the same origin as the previous one but with calcium compounds added. These biomasses come from a waste management and treatment company in the province of Girona, where samples also come from. In the gasification process different output compounds are produced depending on the starting material. The objective of the project is to try to increase the production of these compounds and process efficiency by combining other pretreatment processes such as hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) or torrefaction. These processes must concentrate the present carbon of the biomass so that it can be gasified and produce better results of compounds of interest. |
