Descripción
Sumario:[EN] This graphic research aims to document, analyze, and reconstruct the disappeared Gate of Triana in Seville. In order to do so, data from the gate historical context and authorship and images from the 16th to 19th centuries (city views, plans, and photographs), reflecting its architectonic characteristics and privileged setting, are compiled and inspected. For the virtual reconstruction some metric data from archaeological remains were used, analyzing the architectural composition, examining architecture treaties from that period, and 19th photographs that contribute with reliable details. The aim is to highlight the importance of these images in order to reveal an urban architectural work of great heritage value that unfortunately disappeared in the 19th century, and now is recovered through the graphic arts.
