Descrição
Resumo:[EN]The study examines unwanted loneliness among older adults in highly depopulated rural areas of Salamanca, finding that 41.2% experience moderate or severe loneliness. Loneliness is associated with living alone, low educational level, and lack of social and community activities, rather than with the availability of services. The findings highlight the need for interventions focused on strengthening social relationships and emotional wellbeing rather than solely addressing structural factors.
