| Sumario: | Interpersonal violence is a serious problem in today's society, the injuries resulting from this type of violence affect the facial and oral area, being the Odonto- Stomatologists in charge of diagnosing and treating injuries in this area, however they do not delve into the situation of violence that caused the injuries. We present in this article the legal framework that surrounds the specialist in the face of this problem, as well as the signs of detection and identification of these patients, the oral examination, and the performance of the injury report. Influencing the need for training and curricular preparation as well as conducting training courses on this issue to detect the problem, highlighting the importance of having action protocols. |
