Sumario:[EN] The spaces of sacred architecture are so called for their embrace of the liturgical function. Its approach comes from the need to tend to the signs as a means of connecting to the realities of the spiritual character and as such, not sensitive Within the Catholic Church, the ll Vatican Council has assumed radical changes in the characteristics of the churches based on the transformation of some of the liturgical aspects, form what is called the Liturgical Movement. The design of churches, in this context, has to respond to the approach to liturgical assemblies supported in the concept of the congregation’s active participation.
