Descrição
Resumo:Crime in Compostela was published in 1984 by Carlos G. Reigosa, considered the inaugural work of the criminal novel in Galician. Despite the relative editorial success of the genre, few women writers will cultivate it: the frst, Laura Caveiro, author of Polas inmensas e alleas fortunas (1995). This paper reviews the later contributions of Galician women writers to criminal narrative –Matei un home (2003) de An Alfaya, Sete caveiras (2014) de Elena Gallego, O faro escuro (2015) de María López Sández e Compostela Noire (2016) de Blanca Riestra–, to place them in relation to the clichés of the genre and with the defnition of archetypes of female (and male) characters.
