Sumario:[EN] The graphic legacy of Josep María Jujol reflects, like few others, the graphic uses of Catalan and, therefore, Hispanic Modernism. An outstanding disciple of Gaudí, for whom he will develop paradigmatic design works, such as the colourful decoration of the façade of Casa Batlló, Jujol s architectural work will be characterized by the imaginative use of colour, the sinuousness of form and the material and formal richness. In his graphic work, even the most formalized, there are layers of thought that are superimposed following the rhythm of his creation process. Free forms that use a wide range of graphic techniques to reflect formal freedom, material richness and a fantastic use of colour that heralds later materiality. Jujol drew as he built, superimposing shapes through line, colour, and collage. Some drawings that reflect the mental freedom of an architect in a full creative act.
