| Sumario: | [EN] The constructive support of the Spanish Renaissance is the templated ashlar work. To obtain the templates that allow the shaping of the ashlars, it is necessary to draw the pieces that form the masonry in natural size. These tracings are known as full-scale drawings and are relevant documents in the Construction History.Several original large-scale drawings are preserved in the Colegio de Nuestra Señora de la Antigua, a Renaissance building located in Monforte de Lemos. Until now, there have been news of two of them, delineated and explained previously, to which this text adds several more, forming a set that allows to speak of a true Full-Scale Drawing Route . The reason of the conservation of these tracings is explained based on the building construction history. Some key construction data, which stand out in the realized historical review, are also pointed out. |
