El trabajo analiza las relaciones entre ellas, comenzando por algunas teorías arquitectónicas y continuando con el estudio de algunos ejemplos de la arquitectura española del siglo XX que ilustran las propuestas del autor. Finalmente el trabajo apunta nuevas vías de investigación sobre el tema.[EN]Historically the popular architecture and the modern architecture seemed to be from opposite and independent cultures. The paper analyzes the relationships between them, starting with some architectural theories and going on studying a few examples of Spanish architecture of the twentieth century that illustrate the author's proposals.
