Merging o f the lithological records and conventional logs into the seismic units and subunits defined, allowed their 3D mapping and calculation of both the sediment volume and approximate accumulation rates in the Great Meteor East area (central subbasin of the Madeira Abyssal Plain) since the Middle Miocene.
