Elastic scattering of 7Be + 28Si at near-barrier energies
The elastic scattering of the radioactive nucleus 7Be from a 28Si target was studied at four near-barrier energies: 13.2, 17.2, 19.8, and 22.0 MeV (E/VC = 1.14, 1.48, 1.71, and 1.90). Angular distribution measurements were performed at each energy with the multidetector arrayEXPADESin conjunctionwit...

| Sumario: | The elastic scattering of the radioactive nucleus 7Be from a 28Si target was studied at four near-barrier energies: 13.2, 17.2, 19.8, and 22.0 MeV (E/VC = 1.14, 1.48, 1.71, and 1.90). Angular distribution measurements were performed at each energy with the multidetector arrayEXPADESin conjunctionwith two Parallel-PlateAvalanche Counters (PPAC) to enable beam ray reconstruction of the events. The data are analyzed in a double-folding framework and the energy evolution of the optical potential as well as the total reaction cross sections are deduced and discussed. |
