On Basque Non-finite Verbal Forms: Historical Morphology and the Beginnings of the Periphrastic Verb

In this chapter I shall focus on the history of Basque analytic verbs, their different parts and how they are combined. Each section will take present-day data as a starting point to describe the historical evolution of the elements studied and also, where possible, their prehistory.
