Descripción
Sumario:[EN] Shrubs play an intermediate role between trees (volumes) and herbaceous plants (ground cover). They act on a more human scale and with their masses and groupings they can also add volume to areas and scenes in the garden. They are useful for establishing successive planes, layers, or levels in the green component of a park or a garden; they serve to conceal areas, limit others, or impede access to certain places without obstructing vision. Shrubs can also cover slopes and are frequently used to draw attention to a certain point or to break the monotony of a landscape.
