Actualmente este país cuenta con una legislación ambiental de amplio alcance interno e internacional, lo cual denota la garantía como deber del Estado de los ciudadanos en término de la protección de sus riquezas naturales como derecho y bienestar de goce de un ambiente sano, teniendo en cuenta el equilibrio ecológico, la seguridad y salubridad pública, así como la prevención de desastre. La investigación es de tipo descriptiva, comprensiva e interpretativa.
