Descripción
Sumario:This article tackles with a research about the use of the Spanish language in relation to collaborative work on the Internet. It describes an early stage of an experiment carried out along with Wikimedia Spain and supported by three research centers. In this research it is analysed why Wikipedia in Spanish, which is the second language with more native speakers, holds the ninth place in relation to the number of articles in that encyclopedia. This work also deals with the study of Wikipedia intrinsic biases, both from the international scene and from the Spanish version. In order to explore the aforementioned behaviour, we have made a research based on 231 Spanish university students aimed at measuring users' creative skills.
