Descrição
Resumo:This chapter deals with various aspects that will help us have a better understanding of the Islamic model of sanctity, as well as to follow closely the diverse expressions that confirm the status of awliyā’, or saints, of our two main characters, Abū Ya‘zā and al-Yuḥānisī. On the one hand, it will pay special attention to their dietary regimens and their charitable acts. On the other hand, it will analyze the conversion process of al-Yuḥānisī by considering the information obtained in the work Tuḥfat al-mugtarib, which fully deals with his prodigious acts. These elements are closely interrelated and are necessary to approach the Islamic sainthood.
