| Summary: | The Frame Instantiator Tool (FIT), a graphical interface to give concrete values to abstract parameters of general problems is presented. It is designed to be an important part of Frames, an environment for developing applications based on libraries of efficient parallel algorithms. Given an abstract specification of the parameters of a problem (abstract frame) the FIT automatically generates a graphical user interface to enable end-users to easily assign values to the parameters. Other features are the generation of the instance specification and the integration with the rest of tools and resources that make up the Frames Development System. |
