Descripción
Sumario:[EN] The article explains the conceptual references, the development process, and the governance model of the Strategy of the city of Valencia (Spain) to guide its transition towards a more sustainable urban model. In particular, it shows the innovative approach of bringing together in the Strategy, as two sides of the same coin, public policies based on the principles of the national and international urban agendas, with a city Climate Mission that adopts the methodological approach proposed by the innovation missions of the European Union (EU). Finally, there are listed the synergies achieved and the main lessons learned from the case of the Valencia Urban Strategy.
