Sumario:[EN] Entrepreneurship is a field of scientific research that is booming because both governments and states are concerned by recent and current socioeconomic crises as are public institutions offering higher education. Foreign educational models are adopting good practices in this area in order to provide their students with the necessary transferrable skills in innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity. Universities assume an important role in promoting these skills, since the knowledge and talent for generating technology start-ups is largely to found among their students. The Spanish government is no stranger to this situation and has adopted reforms pushed forward by the European community in order that university institutions promote measures to foment an entrepreneurial culture and introduce into their degree courses subjects related to business creation and entrepreneurship. Currently, there are no methodological studies that help us understand the relationships between entrepreneurship of college students and their psychological, social and economic characteristics, so that one can adjust training in entrepreneurship to the needs of each student group. This thesis tries to design and develop a methodology to understand the nature of university student entrepreneurs from the point of view of socioeconomic and psychological aspects. The study also considers whether their time at university has encouraged them to undertake innovative projects or increase their entrepreneurial skills and to offer recommendations to the support services these students need and / or are demanding. For this reason, the role universities play in the transfer of knowledge is studied, reflecting on both the theoretical framework and the European and Spanish dimension of knowledge transfer, highlighting the role that Valencian universities play through the Campus of International Excellence. A theoretical analysis of entrepreneurship contextualized in Spain, which characterizes the activity of entrepreneurs and start-ups has been carried out. It is notable that there has been an increase in the number of self-employed people registered in RETA who have attended a higher education institution and has an undergraduate degree. Consequently, we decided to investigate the value chain of enterprises and the services provided by different platforms to help entrepreneur, including entrepreneurs with university degrees. This study includes the analysis of the psychological and socioeconomic profile of these entrepreneurs, so a description of them has been realized and we investigate scientific research in entrepreneurship conducted over the last decade. The data collection tool is a questionnaire that has been validated at the Campus of Alcoy of the Technical University of Valencia. After a descriptive and multivariate statistical analysis, the following conclusions were arrived at: There are socioeconomic variables that do show dependence with the entrepreneurial intention of university students. There is a direct relationship between activities related to entrepreneurship carried out by students and the entrepreneurial intention of university students' activities. We have identified those services that are in greatest demand from university students and which can be adapted to various platforms to support entrepreneurship. There are differences in the kind of entrepreneurial guidelines depending on the degree being studied and which academic year the students are in. We have developed a model of entrepreneurial guidelines from David McClelland's Human Motivation Theory that predicts which student groups might have a high percentage of potential entrepreneurs in their midsts. The methodology proposed in this research permits universities to make use of a system for the early detection of students who manifest their entrepreneurial skills which can be enhanced by various activities that promote their competence.
