| Sumario: | [EN] Cultural heritage institutions must be in constant evolution. Society changes at any time and these entities need to adapt to new technologies to show their photographical background to everybody. Some entities which have, take care and study cultural, historic or scientific heritage don’t have the knowledge to take advance of social media. For this reason, different international institutions have been born and they have the aim of spreading audiovisual, historical and scientific heritage through Internet. This is the case of Photoconsortium, a non for profit association whose purpose is the promotion and enhancement of the culture of photography and photographic heritage; and Europeana, Europe’s digital platform for cultural and scientific heritage, which provides online access to 45 million of European digitized cultural items from over 3.500 libraries, archives, audiovisual collections and museums. This research focuses on the work of these internationals entities and gives the example of Jalón Ángel’s Photographic Archive as a new partner as well as its experience with these institutions. |
