Resumo:Micro- and nanotubes, and other elongated structures of SnO_2 as wires and rods, were grown after sintering in argon flow at temperatures ranging from 1350 degrees C to 1500 degrees C. The morphology and luminescence properties of these structures have been investigated by means of the secondary electron and the cathodoluminescence (CL) modes of the scanning electron microscope (SEM).
