Furthermore, it shows facets of the nowadays designed domestic violence.Cautivo del Deseo, cuyo argumento está basado en Servidumbre Humana, la renombrada novela de Somerset Maugham, plantea la enfermiza y creciente vinculación subordinante-subordinado entre una perversa camarera y un estudiante de medicina, baldado y débil de carácter. Esta relación, que alcanzará su acmé para, a su través, conducir a la resolución de la madeja melodramática argumental, puede no sólo resultar de utilidad para visualizar e indagar aspectos psicológicos, nada ajenos a la Medicina, sino facetas ligadas a la relación médico-paciente donde la madurez, la empatía y el mero liderazgo formal deben privar por sobre cualquier variante autoritaria de la misma.
