Descripción
Sumario:The magnifying glass is probably the simplest visual instrument for the observation of small objects. It consists of a converging lens placed between the object and the eye. The mutual distances between the elements and the accommodation state of the eye have an important role in the final magnification obtained. In the present work, we an- alyze all the relevant details in terms of the geometrical optics theory. Some interesting results are found and explained
