Decoupling chromatin hubs from gene control
Chromatin hubs, which are formed during cell differentiation, are characterized by simultaneous interactions between multiple regulatory elements and gene promoters. Research now shows that the disruption of such hubs bears limited consequences for enhancer-mediated transcription.
