| Sumario: | [EN] Feminist musicology, as a research methodology, has been applied to a wide range of works, sharing a common concern with gender issues that permeate the creation of music. However, the discussions surrounding certain terms used in its reflections have frequently been revisited from different perspectives. This article aims to provide a brief overview of some of these discussions and concludes with a reflection on the potential of sound art and listening practices as research objects. These areas may ultimately necessitate a departure from the categories that have traditionally underpinned the discipline’s work. |
