Description
Summary:The study of new 7th- and early 8th-century pottery contexts in the port area of Tarragona has allowed us to update our archaeological knowledge of the trading networks involving this Hispanic Mediterranean town in the late Visigothic period. The results show that the Tarraconensian port was connected by sea with the main focal points and distribution routes for food supplies and consumer items in North Africa and the Near East.
