| Sumario: | [EN] The paper summarizes the results of a fieldwork esigned in the mountains of Suído (Galicia). Has included an ethnographic survey aimed to recover the labours of cattle grazing and the memory of the inhabitants of the area, as well as a detailed recording of the traditional place names of the mountain range. In this sense, the paper tries to stress the necessity to combine the archaeological and anthropological methodologies, intended as complementary disciplines to record and preserve a landscape and a series of economic activities on the verge of dissapearence, which in a near future will become part of the fossilized and lifeless archaeological record. |
