| Sumario: | [EN] The purpose of the thesis is to analyze and improve the development of the distribution of potable water Tegucigalpita community, located in the northern department of Cortes, Honduras, CA. The objectives pursued are first detailed study of the entire water distribution network that currently exists in the city, and then address the planning of future solutions to improve the distribution network is to be performed in this community to improve its hydraulic operation. The content of the plan also includes a compilation of data, an analysis of territorial, economic and social framework of the city and a study of solutions for the horizon situation. Are taken as bases from which the survey network, consumption data, the characteristics of pipes with diameters rainfall data of the area, general urban plan, among others. After analyzing and processing these data shall be developing a network model in Epanet, both to address the diagnosis of the current situation and to define some solutions that solve the improvement of the network to new areas of expansion community. These solutions not only try to troubleshoot the network but generate an adequate and better system to improve the quality of life for residents in the future, generated a result of urban expansion. |
