These issues, together with other relevant ones, seem to gain importance in phraseological research; therefore, in the first place, we will review the state of the art of cognitive perspectives in phraseology research try. Cognitivism has started to develop some strategies that apply to phraseology based, among others, on the concepts of metonymy, metaphor and encyclopedic knowledge. In our study we shall try to determine up to what point these concepts are useful to explain compositionality. In general, phraseological units (PU) tend to be meaningful when interpreting its constituents. That is the reason why in our study we will tackle and try to solve the question of how cognitive strategies as well as Cognitive grammar can shed some light on interpretation and subsequent learning/acquisition of PU.[ES] En la presente comunicación intentaremos dar respuesta, entre otras, a las siguientes cuestiones: ¿cuál es el papel de la Gramática Cognitiva en el proceso de adquisición de la Fraseología? ¿Se puede explicar la idiomaticidad de una lengua a través de la Gramática Cognitiva? Estas, junto con otras cuestiones relevantes, parecen cobrar importancia en la investigación fraseológica, por lo que intentaremos plasmar, en primer lugar, en qué punto se encuentra la investigación al respecto. El cognitivismo ha comenzado a desarrollar estrategias aplicadas a la fraseología, como por ejemplo, los conceptos de metonimia, metáfora y conocimiento enciclopédico. Hasta qué punto estos conceptos podrían resultar de utilidad para explicar su composicionalidad, será otro de los objetivos prioritarios de nuestra comunicación. Asimismo, por lo general, las unidades fraseológicas (UF) suelen encontrar su motivación en la interpretación de las partes.
