| Sumario: | [EN] Colombia's Golden Triangle, has a rich cultural heritage that ranges from colonial architecture to indigenous and Afro-descendant traditions. This article examines the challenges and opportunities in the conservation of this heritage while integrating environmental sustainability and the spiritual significance of the landscape. A methodological approach combining qualitative and quantitative research will be employed. To understand the challenges and opportunities in cultural heritage conservation, in-depth interviews will be conducted with community leaders, local authorities, and cultural heritage experts. These interviews will provide a detailed understanding of the threats facing cultural heritage, as well as ongoing revitalization and preservation initiatives. In addition, a quantitative analysis of secondary data will be carried out, which will include the collection and analysis of information on the state of conservation of historic buildings, the evolution of tourism in the region, and urban development policies. To explore the spiritual significance of the landscape as a sacred place, focus groups and participatory workshops will be held with members of the local community. These activities will lead to an understanding of how the spiritual connection with the environment influences attitudes toward the conservation of cultural heritage and landscape. Finally, a participatory approach will be used that engages local communities in the identification of solutions and the implementation of interdisciplinary conservation strategies among experts in cultural heritage, environment, and community development. |
