Description
Summary:Pre-Arcosic detritic sediments (Paleocene-Eocene?) have been affected by normal faults; this distension phase, named Extremeña Phase, is related with Other similar regional observations. During Lower-Upper Miocene a new compressive phase cause thrusting with granite and metamorphic rocks of Gredos ånd Montes of Toledo overthrusting to Pre-Arcosic and Arcosic sediments. This phase is including at the Guadarama, and/or Neocastellana, Phases detected in eastern Central System massiff and other Meseta basins respectivaly.
