Sumario:This article analyses the transformation, which is rooted in the increasingly influence of the bourgeoisie of Valladolid on the urban development, of the spaces of the central and south parts of the city during the middle of the nineteenth century. These changed spaces became a manifestation of the bourgeois' imaginary that allows them to live a comfortable and luxurious life. At the same time those spaces transmitted bourgeois' worldview and bourgeois' way of life to the men in the street.
