Sumario:[EN] This master thesis develops a new methodology using a numerical one-dimensional model for selective withdrawal, entitled SELECT (Instruction Report E-87-2, U.S. Army Engineer Waterways Experiment Station, Vicksburg, MS), so as to optimise the quality of water extracted from the reservoir of Amadorio, (Alicante). It's a one dimensional, steady-state model of extracting a stratified reservoir. Developed by the USACE (US Army Corps of Engineers), which allows, from the temperature profiles, other component, and from the information of the drainage zones, the influence and quality of the withdrawal zone, to be estimated, according to the available profiles. Regarding the considered optimization methodology. A Monte Carlo method is developed along with a subsequent manual analysis from the results of multiple simulations, taking into account that there are six available ports for the MULTITOMA, and setting a target flow rate, estimated based on the volume that was extracted from the reservoir at the time of being analysed. The results obtained from the withdrawals have been analysed so that optimal quality accounts for all constituencies at once, in real time. Thus allowing one of the main problems that those responsible face for the operational use of a dam, to be mitigated, as is the daily or short-term operation, to be carried out through a structure of selective extraction, to obtain a water quality in compliance with the specific regulations for the use to which it will be destined.
