Descripción
Sumario:The aim of this study is to establish the relationship between the supply of services made by Spanish manufacturing firms (servitization) and their degree of digitization, understanding that digital technologies are enabling a close connection between producers and consumers that allows the company to offer specific solutions that satisfy the preferences of their customers. Our results support the existence of differences in the degree of digitization between manufacturing companies that obtain income from services and pure manufacturing companies, with a digitization premium for the former, which is of greater dimension for medium-sized companies and is transversal to different ways of digitization.
