Descrição
Resumo:Datasets are provided in 6 different layers. 1) Graphical pdf files produced on every station and providing a direct visual inspection of the (1) Raw measurements of each instrument, (2) the different methods tested to align (cross-calibrate) those different measurements and (3) the final cross-calibrated spectra obtained. (4) Inspection of the NBSS (normalized biovolume size spectra), (5) BSS (biovolume size spectra) and (6) functional and (è) trophic compositions (spread across size ranges or as total compositions) are also provided. Those are presented within 5 files: -metaplankton biovolume.pdf and metaplankton carbon.pdf present the same results but in either biovolume units or carbon biomass units. -metaplankton with FACS cytometry biovolume.pdf and metaplankton with FACS cytometry carbon.pdf present the same as above but with the addition of FACSCalibur flowcytometry results. -metaplankton biovolume NIGHT.pdf present the same results but for nigh results (all the above been filtered on Day only) The source measurements presented in those graphs are directly present in the two files Mergedbase.mat and MergedbaseC.mat while all the intermediate products are present in the “metaplankton(…).mat” (see bellow). Those figures have been used notably to ensure the quality control of the assemblage of different devices and the different final products obtained. 2) Raw datasets as obtained from Ecotaxa exports (imaging devices) and as either fcs files for Accuri flowcytometry or concentration, size and biovolumes for Facscalibur flowcytometry. They are provided as separate .zip files for -Fascalibur flowcytometry -Accuri flowcytometry -eHFCM (H5) from the 5µm nets -eHFCM (H20) from the 20µm nets -Flowcam (both from Niskin bottles and bongo 20µm net (b20) -Imaging flowcytobot (IFCB); one file every 5 minutes -Zooscan from the WP2 (200µm) net -Zooscan from the bongo (300µm) net -Zooscan from the Regent (680µm) net -UVP data
