| Resumo: | The following research aims to contribute from a feminist perspective the study of emotions and corporality as material elements that are articulated with social discourses. The methodology is ethnographic in nature (2017-2020 and 2022) on sex work in the Catalan-French cross-border area, together with 34 interviews with women who do sex work, stage professionals and other related people. Based on a reflective practice by the researchers, subjection and desubjection processes are detected that connect embodied narratives or affective-emotional experiences with discourses and social structures that perform and affect us.
